Successful Emotional Intelligence for the Workplace - Part I

Students will learn how emotional intelligence can impact relationships and performance in the classroom, laboratory, or workplace. They will work on developing the ability to recognize their emotions and identify their sources. They will learn how to consider things from an opposing point of view, reflectively listen, and manage their emotions. They will learn to discern their own unconscious conditions and expectations as well as those of others.

 

Outcomes:  Students develop greater self-awareness and become better at creating a personal and professional culture of personal responsibility, compassion, and integrity.
